Is online therapy right for me?

Do I need a referral to see you for online therapy

While online therapy can be a flexible and effective option, it’s not suitable for everyone. During the initial consultation, we’ll explore whether Telehealth is the right fit for your needs and circumstances. This first session helps us determine whether ongoing therapy is clinically appropriate, safe, and aligned with your goals.

If Telehealth isn't suitable, I’ll do my best to guide you toward alternative support options that may be a better fit for you at this time.

No, you don’t need a referral to access therapy. I do not provide rebates, however my fees have been adjusted accordingly with this in mind.

What’s the difference between therapy & coaching?

I’ve had bariatric surgery or used weight loss medication — can you help?

Therapy is a clinical service that involves working through psychological challenges such as anxiety, disordered eating, or low self-worth. It’s only available to clients in Australia under my registration as a psychologist.

Coaching, on the other hand, is a non-clinical service. It focuses on personal development, behavioural change, mindset, and achieving meaningful goals. Coaching does not address mental health diagnoses or involve therapy.

I’ve had bariatric surgery or used weight loss medication — can you help?

Yes, I support many clients who have undergone bariatric surgery or used weight loss medications but continue to struggle with post surgery adjustments, binge eating, emotional eating, or body image concerns. Whether through therapy (Australia only) or coaching (worldwide), I take a non-judgmental, weight-neutral approach that prioritises your emotional and physical well-being.
